確かに、給料の支払いが遅れるのは困る。周囲がそれを理解してくれていれば違うだろうけれど、例外だからな。

True — having your wages delayed is genuinely difficult. It would be different if the people around you understood the situation, but this is an exceptional case, so they don't.

Cierto: que se retrase el pago del salario es un problema real. Sería distinto si la gente de tu entorno entendiera la situación, pero es un caso excepcional, así que no la entiende.
